From Shaftesbury: as you come into the village pass the post box on the right hand side, a little further along on the right there is a track with a red telephone box just before it and slate sign “Ash Mead” If you get to the pond you have gone too far!
From Blandford: pass the village pond and carry along the road towards the left. Immediately after the red telephone box on your left hand side turn left up the track.
